Confidence Growth
Over the 12 weeks, you will learn the skills and techniques needed to grow in confidence. We cover many different subjects, including portraiture, animals, still life and landscapes. Each session is three hours long, and are currently available mornings, afternoons and evenings on Thursdays and morning and afternoon on Fridays at our main venue in the delightful village of Wall, Lichfield.
You don’t need any prior experience as our talented tutors will explain the skills being taught and help you to apply them at your level. Classes are friendly and relaxed.
Over the course, you will learn a variety of drawing and painting skills. As you enjoy each project, you will learn how to identify and use the elements of art – line, shape, value, form, texture, colour and space. In the final week, you will be given the opportunity to draw on the skills acquired through previous projects to create a piece of your choice, with the guidance and support of our experienced tutors.
We have a new curriculum each course and many of our students rebook and come back term after term. However, if you just want to try us out for a single term, and take it from there, that’s fine. Each session is three hours long and includes group tuition, individual guidance, course notes and all materials including paper and refreshments. Over 18’s (adults) only.
