Here at the Art Skills Class, we firmly believe that art isn’t just about talent – it’s about learning skills. We teach the skills you need to develop as an artist.

Our Story

For the last five years, we have operated a successful art class in Lichfield under franchise and have loved it. 

A year ago, we decided to branch out and extend the range of courses we offer to include shorter courses for complete beginners along with one-off taster sessions and mixed ability courses.

Our Art Tutoring Team

We have worked together for several years and love being able to inspire and support each other and our students.

The Art Skills Class team have been running classes in Lichfield for well-over 6 years. In this time we have built strong relationships with a wide range of adults of all ages wanting to develop their art skills.

The Art Skills Class team are proud to be a part of the Adult Community Education sector supporting continued learning through all our life stages.

Students’ creative ideas and individuality is valued and listened to. Tutors encourage, support, guide, inspire,  lead and allow creative freedom. Teaching offers an individual creative experience.

Focused and structured teaching allows students to learn the technical skills and creativity they need to develop and grow as creative artists.

Equally, students have time to explore and nurture the quiet voice of their creative spirits that will encourage their unique artistic vision to be witnessed.

Students are supported to improve their practical skills and understanding of the language of art.
