In this vibrant and tactile session, students will explore the delicate beauty of winter berries—from frosted rose hips to glossy holly and snow-dusted branches. Using watercolour pencils, learners will sketch and layer colour to create rich, seasonal compositions that celebrate nature’s quiet resilience.
This project encourages close observation and gentle mark-making, with the added fun of activating colours with water for soft blends and striking contrasts. It’s a wonderfully festive way to build confidence with colour while embracing the textures and tones of winter.
